Hello! My name is Christie Darago. My family is my everything and my very favorite subjects. I am an empty nester now, except for my two doodles, who are definitely my babies! I love spending time with my two granddaughters (+ the rest of the family), traveling with my hubby, working out, visiting the mountains and eating cookies in their most delicious forms. I have been a professional natural light photographer for over 13 years, but have loved capturing moments for as long as I can remember. My career really started out as a hobby with family and friends and then grew into Christie D Photography. I'm a people person, so I genuinely love to meet new clients and have a blast capturing moments and creating memories.

I specialize in senior photography because I absolutely LOVE this special year of life and believe it's worthy to be celebrated and captured. My photography has allowed me to capture the beauty, excitement and joy of many young people during such a unique season. I love being able to create memories that will last a lifetime for my seniors. Most of all, I take pride in my ability to capture each unique personality in such a way that even parents delightfully remark I have caught their child's true self. I love being able to honor young adults as I create timeless images to serve as memories for them and their families. This brings me the most joy! On that note, my husband and I love looking back at our personal senior photos...and we get a good laugh at our big hair and outfit choices!
I also specialize in family photography. I have a passion for capturing the love, joy and reality that families share. I know for myself that such memories are some of the most precious moments in life. So, I strive to capture those moments and turn them into priceless memories that will be cherished for generations. I believe that family photography should be more than just taking pictures; it should be an experience that the entire family can enjoy. For my longstanding clients, it has been my honor to offer the images that remind families of each precious season they have shared.
